ICON INVESTMENTS ANNOUNCES REBRAND, FUND LAUNCH

December 5, 2016

ICON Investment Group, LLC, a leading alternative investment manager, today announced that it has changed its name to CION Investment Group, LLC and will operate under the brand “CION Investments” going forward. Its affiliated broker-dealer will continue to be known as CION Securities, LLC. The name change coincides with the launch of CION Ares Diversified Credit Fund (“CADEX”), which was declared effective on December 1st by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

CADEX is registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and will operate as a continuously offered, closed-end interval fund. CADEX will seek to provide superior risk-adjusted returns across various market cycles by investing in a diversified portfolio of liquid and illiquid asset classes throughout the entire global credit spectrum. CADEX will be advised by CION Ares Management, LLC, a joint venture between CION Investments and an affiliate of Ares Management, L.P. (NYSE: ARES).
